Wray FCCLA would not be able to have the success we have without the support of Wray School District. The district supports our fundraising efforts, community outreach projects, grassroots programs in our school that focus on anti-bullying, relationships, body awareness and mindfulness among others! The WRAC
Wray FCCLA joins forces with the WRAC, our local recreation center, to provide a space to foster relationships between our youth and the Grandmas and Grandpas in our community. Monthly, we hold Senior Walkers, a program that provides the opportunity to build relationships and the partnership built by Wray FCCLA and the WRAC has been strong for over 25 years! WCDH
The partnership with the Wray Community District Hospital (WCDH) has been strong for 12 years where we host benefits and hold drives to support the important causes that both entities finds valuable. Breast cancer awareness events, prostate cancer education, diabetes education and fundraising for anyone affected by these diseases to receive free and low cost screenings has been the strength of our efforts. Over the years, we have raised over $20,000 to donate to the Wray Community District Hospital as well as the placement of 26 AED (Automated External Defibillators) throughout our small town with a value of $65,000! The City of Wray has continually supported the youth in our community and specifically Wray FCCLA members with our outreach programs and helping to make those efforts a reality. Visit their website
