Empty Bowls Railyn and Maleigha

Empty Bowls was a combine effort between the Manna Pantry, our local food bank; The Space, which is the creative arts center in town; and Wray FCCLA Chapter members. Bowls were painted at The Space and sponsorships were sold around town to make the event a success. Wray FCCLA members helped to sell tickets and volunteered to make the event successful. Community members donated their cooking expertise to provide the soup for the event. Together, we raised $11,000 that was donated to the Manna Pantry to directly impact our community!

Pink Out Morgan and Jacy

We fundraised $1300 to donate to the Wray Community District Hospital for women to receive free and low cost mammograms. We sold shirts, hosted bake sales and found sponsors for the Pink Out Volleyball and Football games.

Books of all kinds are available, from Adult to Children's, or History to Fantasy. We are hosting a tea party on December 16th to help spread awareness about our project and reading.

Epilepsy Awareness Madison, Alyssa, and Riley

Madison, Alyssa, and Riley have a goal to raise Epilepsy Awareness in our community for their FCCLA Chapter. Epilepsy is a disorder in which nerve cell activity in the brain is disturbed, resulting in seizures. This condition cannot be cured, but can be controlled with medicine. To help raise awareness about this disorder they will be doing a bake sale and handing out pamphlets and bracelets as well. All proceeds will go to the Epilepsy Foundation of Colorado for research.
